Hello,
This may off topic.
My blog is over a year and it hardly gets any traffic from Google. My traffic from search engines shows a flat line. I wonder whether I have any issue that blocks google bots nativate my site?
Hopefully, in this forum there is someone who would check my website wellnessowners.com for SEO optimization. Are google bots available to navigate through my links? Is my robots.txt file correct? Do I have any issues in terms of SEO?
I would be glad to receive your feedback.
Thanks!
Ion
All questions are welcome here however a better site would be Google Webmaster Forums.
Hi @braddalton! You're probably right, but they are not as interactive as this one. Here you can faster get a reply to your question.
I do free website and marketing assessments and would say that you might want to take another look at your business model, your target audience and your content.
Personally I find WordPress and Genesis to be quite Google/SEO friendly with minimal tweaks. Perhaps the challenges lie elsewhere?
Content is King/Queen...and all the SEO helps but is secondary to great, engaging, valid content.
Feel free to ask for a free assessment. I'd love to chat in more detail.
I'm not sure you know who your audience is, which is key to anything (SEO, marketing, content dev...).
"This blog might be useful for newbies to topics like exercising, lifestyle and prevention."
That's a pretty wide audience. Figure out who your talking to first.
P.S. What is a Wellness Owner? I thought, initially, your site was for people who own a Wellness business.
Good luck!
