    Thank you for the idea, but I am actually seeking a way to beneath the post title somewhere (in by-line or post excerpt) display a badge or icon of some sort.

    Any other ideas on how to best do this?

    Thanks Davinder, however it still shows the same as it did - no change even after multiple page refreshes. Any ideas?

    Still needing help on this if anyone knows...

    All I am wanting to do is alter the active page color (menu background) to be the same as if it is not being hovered. I would like to keep the hover color as-is.

    Yes when on the Home page, I realize that may be the case, but I still would like to remove the color so the nav bar does not draw attention.

    I am having the same problem on Metro Pro theme after adding a 'Home' link in the Menu. Any ideas why only the 'Home' menu item is showing the hover color? Theme demo does not show that.
