    I solved the text color by adding .site-footer {color:white;} to the Custom CSS interface. Does anyone know how to change the background color of the footer?

    Thank you for your quick response! The CSS didn't work for me when I manually saved it to the style.css file as you indicated. However, when I published it using the Customizer's "Additional CSS" interface it did work. We can call that issue resolved, but...

    Do you know how to add padding above the "View All Events" link in the widget? You've helped so much already I hope you can do it again if it's not too much trouble. I appreciate it very much.

    I use a simple plugin that allows me to toggle the title on a page by page and post by post basis. There must be a way to do this with code, but this works for me.
