Well now I feel like a doofus, just updated all of my plug-ins (I hadn't done this yet as was porting my site back to wordpress from Rainmaker) and things are working again. Thanks for the time, I hope this helps someone else in the same situation and didn't just waste forum space 🙂
[email protected]MemberThank you brad--the images are uploaded and in the folder but are not populating the screen (it's just a gradient background in the populated widget areas).
Even the stock photos originally in place weren't showing up. I'm wondering if there's a plugin or a line of code somewhere that needs to be messed with as I don't have this problem on other sites (with the same theme).
Last night I even tested plugging in the Parallax theme to see what happened and the same issue (gradient backgrounds, no visual of even the original stock photos that typically load up w/ the theme right away).
[email protected]MemberSo complete rookie here--what exactly would I do to said code to get the images (instead of the gradient mentioned above) to show?
Appreciate any assistance, thank you!
[email protected]MemberI just do the changes within wordpress itself -- we use godaddy not sure what type of server it is (or how to find that out).
I opened the style.css file in our FTP folder via our hosting and it's showing the updates there but the changes are still not reflected visually in site itself.
Perhaps I'm not seeing where to override or how to do that on the server?
[email protected]MemberThanks so much for the quick response, Christoph, I've made both changed but they aren't reflected in the site.
I've tried clearing the cache and opening the site in an incognito window and no changes are reflected.
Rechecked the whitespace pro stylesheet and the changes are still in there, but not reflected visually:
