Right now I'm thinking it is going to be pretty simple. I will have a title that I'd like to stylize, some body text, a button that goes to a link that I dictate. I'd probably want to control the opactiy of the background of the widget to get the right contract with the background image I am using with Home Top.
I see what you are talking about. when you add the recommended widgets to the home-bottom widget area only 3 fit. It took some time while waiting for a response here but I was able to register a new widget area and then drop a text box widget in it with 6 columns. I think that will do although I prefer 5. I've been fiddling around trying to find the right width for 5 columns. I come close but not quite exact. might not be a big deal in the long run. As for the footer I figured that one out too. that one was much easier to work with.
