Hey Davinder thanks a lot,
I actually do like the idea of splitting the post into multiple pages, but I will have a lot of content for each item. At least 3-4k words. Why is it best if I have little content for this option? Thanks!
FabioParticipantCool FTP worked nice and smoothly.
Thank you very much!FabioParticipantThanks everybody for the replies!
@summer: the jpeg/jpg is a typo
the only difference between the two files is in the month 11 november and 12 december.I haven't been able to try any of the suggestions here yet (I'm writing from the apple store at the airport) but I will and post here my results.
The files had been uploaded to my media library and then from there inserted hundred times inside posts.
Thanks summer and Davinder

I didn't know this about shared servers. Is the same true for VPS?December 9, 2013 at 12:24 am in reply to: How to Allow Contributors to Upload New Images but Not Touch the Existing Ones? #77788FabioParticipantCool,
I guess I don't have enough experience with contributors to realize that soon or later they will move on, I'll need to cancel their accounts and keep their author box (whether on articles or author's archive). Thanks, that gives me some perspective. But why is it dangerous to have a contributor account with a weak password? Contributors can't post anything anyways and can't access anything important, the most they can do is creating drafts... so what's the problem?
Thanks!

What do you mean by "content authors that don't need logins"?December 8, 2013 at 11:44 pm in reply to: How to Allow Contributors to Upload New Images but Not Touch the Existing Ones? #77784FabioParticipantHey Summer, thanks for your reply!
No, I'm not using any plugin to manage user permissions, but I guess I'll give this Members a try. I just hoped I could avoid a plugin, but I guess using it is the safest option...Any other suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks
FabioFabioParticipantHey Andrea,
thank you very much. It's strange but it works for me too now... I guess I needed to clear the cache maybe? I don't know but it didn't work before and now it does.
Thanks for your time and help.
FabioFabioParticipantHi Andrea,
unfortunately that didn't help.
Only the first image is responsive, everything else is not...Can it have anything to do with plugins or what do you think?
Thanks!
FabioFabioParticipantHey Andrea,
thanks so much for taking the time to look at my issue 🙂
Unfortunately though it didn't change much after I added the max-width:100% line...Could you please take a look?
Thanks
FabioFabioParticipantHi Dave,
so basically some people prefer fixed layouts simply because of the way it looks?
There are no other advantages? For example this forum here is fixed layout. When I reduce the size of the window it doesn't re-size.
Why? What's the advantage of having this forum fixed and not responsive? Thanks

December 2, 2013 at 2:39 am in reply to: Any genesis social share floating plugins out there? #76566FabioParticipantNo way!
Wpmu asks for subscription in order to get support! WOW!I'm going with Digg Digg then.
December 2, 2013 at 1:02 am in reply to: Any genesis social share floating plugins out there? #76560FabioParticipantI might be getting a little better now 🙂
Anyways, it is hard to find a free sharing plugin without bugs and stuff. I might just buy the wpmu one...
Simplified social sharing asks for a sign up... ridiculous... I wonder if actually someone signs up... mah!
Wp socializer is a mess, totally un-user friendly. So far digg digg is the best I found. I might just go for that or the wpmu one.
Thanks for your help!
More suggestions are welcome!Fabio
December 1, 2013 at 11:58 pm in reply to: Any genesis social share floating plugins out there? #76555FabioParticipantHey Summer how are you?
It's a long time I don't see you in one of my threads! 🙂Anyways, I like Simple Share Buttons Adder, it's real nice, but I would like vertical icons in fixed position on the left side.
I have also posted a question in the wordpress forum asking the author if there is a way I can get his awesome looking icons and display them vertically on the left side of my site.
Unfortunately I haven't received a reply. Do you know if it's possible?
Thanks!
FabioDecember 1, 2013 at 11:25 pm in reply to: Any genesis social share floating plugins out there? #76551FabioParticipantThanks but:
1) they don't have stumble upon
2) they talk about how good it is but they don't even use it on their own site which is not a good sign in my opinion.
Any other alternatives?
Thanks
FabioParticipantThank you,
that was easy 🙂FabioParticipantCool,
thanks.I'm going to ask you for a quote right now then.
FabioFabioParticipantThanks Andrea, that worked.
Only problem is that even the "post info and meta" now gets bold (posted by Fabio) which is not ideal.
Is there any way I can avoid that? Also, since you have been so helpful I have another couple of questions a little out of the box:
1) Do you do custom work? I have a major web design customization in my wishlist for 2014 and in case this is possible I'll ask you for a quote (of course not on this forum).2) Totally out of the box: in your opinion what CMS does this website use: toptenreviews [dot] com?
They don't seem to use wordpress, but I love the static way in which that site is organized and have a project to get a website with the same static feel, but since all I know is wordpress I have no idea how these other websites (that are not wordpress) are managed and how they upload and edit content. I would do a search on google but just have no idea what to search for!!!! Could you please give me a small hint for me to do a search on google and understand how these kind of sites (like toptenreviews [dot] com) work on the backend? Thanks for your help!
