I fixed it by simply adding !importantApril 4, 2014 at 2:47 pm in reply to: Losing sidebar when resizing – help with responsiveness please! #98520FabioParticipantHey thanks David,
that did work.Another question if I can:
I have used the code here:
http://www.studiopress.com/design/colored-content-boxes-buttons.htmto insert the "See It" button in the sidebar.
I would like the words "See It" to be white, but they appear in blue even though I have this:/* Color Buttons ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .button-blue, .button-gray, .button-green, .button-purple, .button-red, .button-yellow { color: #fff; padding: 5px 10px; }
color: #fff
What do I need to do to make the word inside the button in white?
(Reason being I want the button itself in blue and word in white)Thanks!!!
FabioFabioParticipantThanks mate,
for some reason I didn't get an email notification with your reply. I just logged in now and I saw it.
You got a nice blog as well, must be from the UK... they always say bollocks over here...Anyways, I appreciate your suggestion but honestly I don't know how to act upon it, so it doesn't matter, I guess I'll need to hire somebody.
Thanks
FabioFabioParticipantThanks Tom,
that worked!FabioParticipantthanks Brad,
which one of the "submit" do I need to change?
The word "submit" appears 4 times in that snippetThanks
FabioParticipantOk when I added the code here:
http://sridharkatakam.com/using-human-time-last-updated-date-genesis/
it completely crashed my website. Thanks God I was testing it on a test site. The code here:
http://wpsites.net/seo/add-last-updated-date-to-post-info-in-genesis-2-0-html-5-themes/
seems to refer to HTML5 themes, I am using the old HTML4 version of Eleven40 so I don't know if that will work, or if I should expect another crash.Any other solution to have the "last updated:" meta info in posts?
Thanks!
FabioFabioParticipantI had forgotten about this thread but thanks anyways for the help!
FabioParticipantahahahah
I am obsessive but not that much! It's not that I have 100 different versions of the same page (maybe 2-3 and just for some) the problem is that there are hundreds of autosave and each time I edit some small things it creates a new autosave, so it becomes tough to dig in and find the one I need!
I also thought this would be a great idea for a plugin, even a paid one, I would be the first customer.
February 4, 2014 at 8:08 pm in reply to: How to get rid of the gravatar link in the author box? #88649FabioParticipantAhah I am so sorry for the incredibly late reply!
I just found your answer at the bottom of my junk mail box 🙂 while doing some cleaning.Well, in case it matters, I haven't solved it yet and have no idea how to make them un-clickable.
It would be much much much better if I could simply add a picture to the author box without having to rely on gravatar.
Is it possible or Matt Wullenweg doesn't allow it 🙂 ?February 3, 2014 at 12:37 am in reply to: How to change the words "search this website" in search box? #88295FabioParticipantThanks Andrea,
that worked.Fabio

I have been looking in there but I couldn't find it... 🙂 unbelievable!January 20, 2014 at 8:06 pm in reply to: how to create "headline" class for opening text in a post? #86211FabioParticipantNevermind I found how to do it.
January 19, 2014 at 10:01 pm in reply to: Any script to let contributors add affiliate links? #86020FabioParticipantFor anybody still interested in this,
CJ allows publisher to create "link user" account, where your contributor can simply log in and get the links without being able to do anything else. Plus they suggest to download product feed and get the links altogether.
And last I think they also have an API, which looks quite complex but I think servers that purpose.Fabio
FabioParticipantHi there, it actually works now, it was just a period then it started working again 🙂
FabioParticipantThanks,
I am "a bit" ignorant about it 🙂
Do you think it can be used to create group reviews like goodreads. com or it's more of a forum kind of thing?FabioParticipantAnybody else has any idea how to fix this please?
FabioParticipantYes, but I'm not sure it works that way on NewsPro.
My current fontsize for H1 is 3.6rem, but my post title is 2.5rem.
If I try and change the that 3.6rem to something else, nothing happens. Thanks
FabioParticipantHi Andrea thanks,
I know what you mean with the plugin.Thing is that if I for example want to deep link to a specific item like an asos skirt that is on sale only today I would need a specific deep link for that. Actually this might just be the way these deals sites may be dealing with this issue.
Probably they have something similar to the plugin you wrote but for the whole websites they partner with, so that the contributor can deep link to whatever item and it will automatically generate the aff link for it.
I doubt deals sites will reply to me when asking, but I'll give it a try and if I discover something I'll write it here.
