Ok I just looked at your page on ipad and you have have borders on 3 sides that you want to get rid of? BTW, the sidebar is out of whack on ipad landscape, but OK on portrait. I will take a look tomorrow on main computer.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantRead this article, it will help you understand http://www.rickrduncan.com/genesis-tutorials/rename-genesis-child-theme
Thanks for suggesting taking a look at my website from a marketing point of view. It is an old HTML site from the days when I used to write from scratch. I am about to update it to genesis, so I would like to take a rain check on that, if you are still around...whenever I get to it!

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantYou need to be more precise as to where the border shows, it looks like you left out some information in your post.

When you renamed your child theme folder did you update its name in the functions file?

Anyway it works in both, I just forgot that I also added margin-top: 60px to #portfolio-wrap, .filterable-portfolio ;-}}

Yes, I had an issue with it using the Sample Child theme. I wanted it to show on the home page and Sridhar was not able to find the issue. A programmer I know had to rewrite a portion of the code. However this might not be the same issue you are having.I got your images to move over to the left below the titles by deleting the overflow: hidden in .entry-content. That may have repercussions elsewhere, but it seems to work now.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantYou added your Facebook and Twitter links into the menu and pushed them to the right with a margin-left: 350px, so when the screen is reduced in size, that big margin is still there. You would need to write a media queries rule for .css-facebook with margin-left: 0; for smaller screens. Or, just remove it altogether and have the Facebook and Twitter icons in the menu, they will then flow responsively as the menu is supposed to.
For the "Contact Nathalie" it looks like you have added 2 divs with some inline styling to your text widget. You should just have one div or a p tag with a class name and put the css in the styles.css, that way it would be easier to style in the media queries. Due to its width it will have to have some margin added to push it down in media queries.
Sorry I cannot tell you how to do this with the plugin, making a site responsive usually requires some knowledge of css.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantOK great,
change #title-area on line 187 to
width: 80%;and change #header .widget-area on line 225 to
width: 20%;It depends what you want to put in the header widget. You can always modify these percentages according to your requirements.

Lynne emasai.comemasaiParticipantIf you want to add a header widget you will have to modify the css in styles.css. Make a copy of your styles.css file before you make any changes.
On line 262 change this
.header-full-width #title-area, .header-full-width #title, .header-full-width #title a { width: 100%;}
to this
.header-full-width #title-area{ width: 60%;}
Then just below that add this rule
.header-full-width #title, .header-full-width #title a { width: 100%;}
This will leave you 40% of the header width in which to add your header widget. You will probably have to make some adjustments there, as I am not sure how the css is set up for the theme out of the box.

I can only think it may be a small error in the code that pulls in the posts.
