1) Is there a way to add a blurb/text above the posts?  Right now, I have text within the page, but it isn't appearing.  Only the category posts.

2) How do I set it so that category posts appear in excerpt format?

Same issue here.  I made the necessary changes, but I still get a full border around the nav menu.

I'm experiencing a similar problem.  I received the loop message once, but have since continually been given the following message:

"You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."

I've created a help ticket.  Hopefully, I'll hear something soon.
