.sidebar .enews-widget { background-color: #333; }
If you change the background color to:
background-color: rgba(51, 51, 51, 0.8);
this will give you an 80% opacity of the color #333. Change the 0.8 to change the opacity.(You can find a Hex to rgba converter at http://hex2rgba.devoth.com/)
For the Recent Posts Widget add this to your style.css
.widget.widget_recent_entries { background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.8); }
For the User Profile Widget add this to the style.css
.widget.user-profile { background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.8); }
Change the colors and opacity to suit yourself

.sidebar .widget { border: 1px solid #eeeee8; margin-bottom: 32px; padding: 32px; text-align: center; }
Change the text-align to:
text-align: left;

EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantThere are a number of pop-up contact plugins including Popup Contact Form from gopiplus.com
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAt line 1091 0f your style.css you have:
.site-header .sub-menu { background-color: #c6c6c6; }
The background-color #c6c6c6 is the same as the color of the text which is why you can't see any of the drop-down sub items.
You need to change the background-color to something else. For example #000 will give you black.

EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantI have used Updraft Plus Migrator plugin to migrate a few sites. Worked flawlessly and very easy. One license allows you to use it on unlimited websites.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantThe reason it is happening is simply that the menu items are too large to fit in one line.
There are a number of ways you could get them all in one line:
1) Use a narrower font.
2) Reduce the left and right padding around the menu items ( at Line 203 of your style.css change 10px to 5px)
3) Change the name Resources/Links to Resources and have Links as a sub item.I'm sure there are other ways.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantHave you also linked the custom.css to your WordPress?
"Now that you have uploaded the CSS file to your theme's default directory, you still need to tell WordPress to use this new style sheet in your current theme. Now there are many different ways you can do this, some of which are specific to the Genesis framework. "
Here is an article on how to do it.
http://www.mattsaffiliatejourney.com/site-building/howto-setup-custom-css-file-wordpress-genesis-child-theme/
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantI think you are working on it right now as the width of the widget has changed since I started looking at it.
You need to reduce the width which is currently at 569px to something less than 560px at line 1086 of your style.css.
.site-header .widget-area { float: right; width: 569px; }
You could use a % instead of px if you wish like:
width: 30%;
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantBy 'framing' I presume you are referring to the background color. You can achieve a black background by adding a black background color at line 136 of your style.css like this
body { background-color: #000; color: #231f20; font-family: 'Roboto Condensed',sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 500; line-height: 1.025; }
Now you will need to give .site-inner a different background.
This will give you white (at line 1456 of your style.css).site-inner { background-color: #fff; padding-top: 10px; }
If you need to further change the site header color you can add this to style.css
.site-header { background-color: #000; }
(change #000; to color of your choice)
Footer widget CSS is around line 1428
.footer-widgets { background-color: #f5f5f5; clear: both; padding: 60px 0 20px; }
Change #f5f5f5 to your choice of color.

Add this to your style.css
.entry-meta { display: none; }

EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantI have used NextGen Gallery but it has been problematic from time to time.
I have recently been using Envira Gallery which is simple to use and works quite well.
Genesis Child theme developers Web Savvy Marketing have been singing the praises of Foo Gallery recently in this article

EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAre you sure the letters are bold? I have looked at it in various browsers and I don't see bold.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantTry adding to style.css
#header .menu a { font-family: Helvetica, 'Lora', Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times; }
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantIn your style.css:
Line755
.entry-title { font-size: 36px; line-height: 1; }
Add this: margin-bottom: 0.1rem; Change 0.1rem to suit yourself
Line 1378
.entry-header .entry-meta { margin-bottom: 30px; }
Reduce the 30px to suit.
Line 1530
.sidebar .widget { margin-bottom: 40px; }
Reduce the 40px to suit
Line 1353
.entry-content ol, .entry-content p, .entry-content ul, .quote-caption { margin-bottom: 26px; }
Reduce the value of .entry-content p to suit yourself.
}
