Here is a link to the site:

    http://www.newsite.lwvappleton.org

This is a test site I created. To get the front page the way it is shown in the outreach pro demo,I had to change the default layout to full width. Then on the rest of the pages I individual define the layout to be content, sidebar. My confusion is that the outreach pro demo has a site default layout of content, sidebar. But, when the site loads the front-page.php forces the front page to be full width

This test site is a sub domain of the production site of lwvappleton.org

    Thank you Victor!

Victor, thank you for your prompt reply. I have verified the settings are as you said they should be. Unfortunately, I still have the problem

I've tested out both suggestions and when I add a widget to the new widget areas, it doesn't appear on the home page

Thank you this worked! Can I add to the code to show the entire post and not an excerpt.

The website in question, that contains a test post, is: lwvappleton.org

Thanks for the reply Brad. Using genesis prose, I don't know how to change the RSS feed settings or redirect them. If you could point my in the right direction, I would surely appreciate it.

    Thanks for your help,

    Dave

Hi David, thanks for your feedback. The CSS is no longer minified. Unfortunately, changing the width to 100% did not help. If you have a moment could you tell me if there is anything else I should change.

    Thanks

Hello, I'm new to all this and have tried some of the code above to enlarge my web page.  I am using the Prose child theme with a sidebar, content, sidebar layout.  Using Sean's code, I do get a wider page, however, my Secondary Navigation bar is not in line with either the left or right sidebar.  Also, my header image did not resize to the wider page.  I'm assuming that is due to the fact that I didn't change the dimensions of the header image.  Additionally, the content is not re-displaying the text to the bigger width of the  content area.  It is still wrapping as if the content width was smaller. Any help with this would be very helpful

    Thanks
