ParticipantFrom my understanding, in a block theme there would be no need for a child theme. You are either using core WP blocks or blocks form a plugin like Genesis Blocks. So updating the theme wouldn't override any customizations so long no theme files were changed.
With that said - has anyone used the beta Block Theme? https://www.studiopress.com/genesis-block-theme/
I have uploaded the block theme to play around with it, but it doesn't appear to be fully FSE. When I install that theme the FSE option disappears. Am I doing something wrong?

Participantcarasmo,
Thank you very much. That did the trick.dmor71
ParticipantThanks for reaching out Victor. But I have figured out where to change the text in the plugin but that won't help as it will revert back when the plugin is updated. I need help writing a filter that I can put in my child theme's functions.php so that any plugin updates won't effect the change. Do you know how to do that?

ParticipantWill do

ParticipantJohann Kratzik,
Thanks a whole bunch. That worked great!

ParticipantHey, sorry I'm now getting back to you. I will give this a try. I was guessing I was going to have to make a custom template page because I couldn't do it with actions or filters. I'm really surprised, disappointing rather, there isn't any built in support to simply add a featured image to a post in Genesis.

ParticipantIt's not resolved. I'm still having issues with getting this to work. The current page I linked to has an image but that is just added in the post. I really need the "featured image" to go there and the post title and meta under it like the images above. Any help to get this resolved would greatly appreciated.
