MemberHi Fellas, I used the code you offered here on my site and was left with two footer lines. How do I drop the default footer text in this theme?

MemberInteresting that Yoast has it and Genesis took it out. I'd rather avoid the extra plugins and stick with the built in SEO. That's part of why I picked Genesis over others.

MemberJust make sure to read every box on the slider settings. The most important step I had missed is the drop down to pick posts/pages. When you install WooCommerce, there is a new taxonomy for products you have to pick.

MemberDid some digging in the CSS and found the change needs to happen in the meta section. I cut down the margins and such and saw no change.
Ideally each post looks simple like in Minimum Pro, but laid out on the left in one column.

MemberFigured it out on my own. There are multiple settings that have to be changed for the plugin to pick up taxonomies instead of pages/posts.

MemberWould I create a new author.php file in the child theme (news theme), or in the Genesis theme folder? Then do I just copy the PHP code here into that file?

MemberI created a new plugin just for this purpose. If anyone is interested, you can find it here: http://codecanyon.net/item/thesis-post-image-converter/4580194

MemberThat was exactly what I needed! I wish it were easier to find that.

MemberI am working on a custom plugin to help migrate from Thesis to Genesis. The post image in Thesis does not move over to a new theme, such as Genesis, it stays with Thesis in your blog's database.
