I'm sorry. I should have marked this as resolved. The client decided that she didn't like the sidebar, after all. 🙁

Thanks! I needed to do something very similar, and this worked great for me.

Well, I guess I just won't worry about this. 🙂 Thanks David and Jane.

I've cleared the cache and restarted Chrome with no success. Gotta be one of the weirdest things I've encountered.

OK. So, I played around with this a little bit more and figured out how to fix my problem with the nav bar. The problem was that the header was covering up the nav bar. What I did was change the site-header position to static from fixed, and the nav bar popped right out. It now seems to work OK at all window widths.

btw, I meant to include the link to Sridhar Katakam's post on how to make the background image truly responsive instead of using backstretch. The link to this is http://sridharkatakam.com/setting-responsive-image-place-background-minimum-pro/.

I made Sridhar Katakam's modifications to make the background image truly responsive (), so the background image doesn't disappear on me, but what's happening on my site is that the primary nav bar disappears on everything but the home page when the width of the window is great than 1023 pixels. Very strange.

I also had the same behavior when I set all of the .site-tagline styles to display:none. I just can figure out what's covering up the primary navbar when the window width is so wide.

Yes, perhaps I didn't explain myself properly. Right now, if I set the number of featured posts to three, it displays three very in a single row, andn it looks great. If I set it to more than three, it will display more than three, but start a second row, and that's not what I want. What I want is for it to display three, but then also give me forward and backwards arrows so that I can scroll and see more of them, but only three at a time.

Sorry, but I was just informed by someone on the Pods forums that there is no revisions support for the custom fields. My bad.

Thanks for the suggestion of Simple Share Button Adder. That's exactly what I was looking for!

What are you all using for post sharing? I just installed Slim Jetpack, and that does allow a post to be shared, but only if the user is already logged in. When I logged out and viewed a post, the icons don't even display. I just want my blog readers to be able to e-mail their friends about my posts.
