MemberWhat if I wanted to exclude a post from a category, yet keep in on the home page?
I want to keep the image of the sign in the slider, but not show it in the category.

Thanks!

MemberI have a few clients using Genesis + Child or custom themes with the Shopp plug-in and I haven't had any problems. Support has been good for me.

MemberHey, Ryan. Thanks for the quick response.
That worked for getting navigation into the regular blog posts. See http://www.trentstudios.com/2013/03/a-new-intern-for-trent-studios/
But not for the portfolio. See http://www.trentstudios.com/portfolio/renovative-solutions-logo-and-business-card-design/

MemberGot it. For some reason, the version of the functions.php file in Executive I downloaded a month ago was missing some information. I downloaded a fresh copy of executive, uploaded that functions.php file and all is good.
Thanks for your help!

MemberNo, the theme does not have a page_blog.php file.
I've got archive-portfolio.php
functions.php
home.php
page_landing.php
single-portfolio.phpI added that coding, and added back remove_action('genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title'); but blog posts still do not have titles and posts in the portfolio do.
cway
MemberThat brought back the titles in the Portfolio, which is not what I want. Blog posts titles still don't show.
The page called Blog is using the Blog template.
Thanks for the quick help! I appreciate it!

MemberI found this in the functions.php file:
//REMOVE POST TITLE
remove_action('genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title');cway
MemberI meant Brad. Sorry!
cway
MemberThat worked! Thanks!

MemberGot it. I made a copy of header.php from the genesis folder and put it into my child theme folder, and edited that.

MemberThanks, Pat.
So this is a real estate site. Each post is a property. I have 10 posts being displayed in a category called residential: http://oldtownsq.trentstudios.com/category/residential/
I've created 4 custom fields for two of the properties so far - Azalea and Banyan.
But you'll see that only the Azalea custom fields are showing on the above URL. Do you know why?
Thanks!
