I got rid of the white space by doing this:
.site-inner {
clear: both;
padding-top: 80px;
}and changing the 80px to something smaller. I used 10px.
AHA MOMENT! Plugins :-0, it was an old Genesis plugin that I inadvertently uploaded. (blush). I don't know why that just popped into my head. Thanks for your time everyone. You can close the ticket now.
Well, my server is fine. They did a thorough check and it has to do with the files themselves. I guess I need to send a ticket in because I am getting faulty files in the download process somehow.
yes, I did that, unchecked, re checked, changed code, for some reason the new pro themes are giving me grief. Thanks for your response, I do appreciate it 🙂
I bet you are right!!!! I will do that. I mean that makes sense that it is the server since the same problem is happening over all my sites. Thanks Andrea! 🙂
I have done that. I completely deleted the whole site and reinstalled everything from scratch including databases. I also downloaded the themes (Genesis and News Pro) right from my download site on Studio Press. I have changed nothing within the theme, it's installed as is. This is happening with all my Pro themes. I cannot get the navigations to work on any of them. :-(. Thanks for looking.
I will go in one more time and try reinstalling. I have been doing this since I purchased the theme yesterday.

I think you can close this ticket now. It appears to be there now. I think it was a server problem on their end.

Thank you for looking HBG. Unless they are having server problems I can't see why it would not be there. The site is formatted this morning except for the style sheet changes; they are not showing up as of 6:30am MST. When the blue gets replaced with hot pink, that is when the changes will be complete...I guess.
Maybe it is on the server end and not the theme?
