The background for the navigation is an image so you could make a new image or you could just have a color there instead. You need to go to the css that starts on line 377 for the #nav you can change the background image or color .
colsonKeymasterAre you wanting to move the FAQ NEWS CONTACT down inline with the search? or what are you trying to do?
colsonKeymasterNot 100% sure what you are asking but if you want to change the color of that white area just on the home page you can make a new css that targets it on the home page
.home #content{
background-color: none or what ever color you would like;
}
colsonKeymasterIf you use firebug you can see in your css line 1856, change the color to#FFFFF
colsonKeymasterAdding the below color##343434 to the header background will work better the image wont look good repeating the way you want.
#header {
background: url("images/header.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #343434;
height: 245px;
margin: 0 auto;
padding: 0;}
colsonKeymasterYou can go into the custom menu and add a class to that menu item. But without doing that you can use firebug and find the class that WordPress is giving it and do this. You can change red to the hexadecimal color you would like.
.menu-item-163 {
background: red;
}colsonKeymasterThe style for the right <h2> tag is comming from below which is set at font-size: 13
.home-middle-right .featuredpost h2, .home-middle-right h2 a, .sidebar .featuredpost h2, .sidebar .featuredpost h2 a {}
