padding: 10px 0;
}
If it was me I would also add a margin to the .site-header .widget-area to center it
.site-header .widget-area {
text-align: right;
margin-top:30px;
}

If you remove Background-size:cover;
from
.front-page-1, .front-page-3, .front-page-5, .front-page-7 {
background-attachment: fixed;
background-color: #fff;
background-position: 50% 0;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-size: cover;
}
It will not stretch any wider than 1600px . On screens less wide it will be full width, but on wide screens it will have white space either side.

Perhaps add a max-height to each section, but you will need to check all the words can show and that it works across different screensizes

min-height: 120px;
}

I suggest you edit the following in the stylesheet

.sidebar-primary {
float: right;
width: 300px;
}
Assuming you do not want a gap you will also need to edit
.content {
float: right;
width: 700px;
}

You will also have to check for responsive design. I notice that the sidebar reduces to 300px under 1140px. So maybe, you will need any further edits.
