You'll need to be a bit more specific than that please.
You can create new widget area's, add content columns or use colored content boxes.
Creating widgets depends on which hook location you want them to display and other factors.
Brad DaltonParticipantWho's the web host?
Sounds like you need to change the permissions which the server admin should help you with.
Brad DaltonParticipantJust published a post on this on my blog.
Please let me know if you need any help with it.

Brad DaltonParticipantThat has to do with the aligment of your form.
You can fix this many ways but try pasting the code for the form into your WordPress text editor and aligning it left or align none.
Why not use the Aweber plugin and drag the widget into your new area.
Is the Aweber plugin responsive?
Brad DaltonParticipantYou can with that code. You add a paragraph tag and then add the text after the Speak your mind text in the code.

You can execute code using any Genesis hook and a conditional tag for the home page in a custom function or using the Genesis Simple hooks plugin but it depends on what code you want to execute.
Brad DaltonParticipantYou might want to install the Firefox browser addon named Firebug and inspect the element to find the line number the CSS code is located on in your child themes style.css file:
Line 803 style.css file
Brad DaltonParticipantHi David
Please add the CSS code to the end of your child themes style.css file.
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantThere's no search widget in the top widget area apart from the sidebar. Is this the you want to remove?
By the way, your site seems to load very slowly.
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantTry these developers http://www.studiopress.com/genesis-developers
Brad DaltonParticipantLink to your site please.
Are you trying to remove the footer widgets or footer?
You can do this using CSS code or PHP.
#footer { display: none; }

Brad DaltonParticipantphpMyAdmin is simple.
Select the new db from the sidebar and click import
Browse for your sql file and click Go.Overwriting may cause problems.
Its very easy.
1. Create a new database on the new server
2. Import the SQL file into the new database using phpMyAdmin
2. Change the db conn ection settings in wp-config.php with the new dab name, user and password.Leave the other db on your new server until you are happy with the restoration and then delete it.
I do not know what you have done on the new db which is why i suggest you create another one which is no problem.
I've done hundreds of these and this is the best way to do it.
The reason its not working now is because the WordPress export file does not contain the all the data you need to restore the site perfectly.
Brad DaltonParticipantYou must add the new server path and new domain name in the WP Migrate DB plugin settings before exporting the db from your old domain.
Then you simply create a new db on the new server and import the db using phpMyAdmin.
Brad DaltonParticipantYou can add any url as a custom link in the menu. Not sure why it changes the menu color. I try and stay away from the meny CSS and leave it as is becuse there's so many classes its confusing.
I know that the developers have reduced as much CSS code from the nav menu as possible.
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantAdd a new custom widget area in the genesis_hook location for after menu on the home page only using a conditional tag.

You can then add content column classes to the widget.
<div class="one-half first">This is an example of a WordPress post, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. You can create as many posts as you like in order to share with your readers what exactly is on your mind.</div> <div class="one-half">This is an example of a WordPress post, you could edit this to put information about yourself or your site so readers know where you are coming from. Brad DaltonParticipantBetter to use the WP Migrate DB plugin and export/import the database.
You leave alot behind when you don't use the old db.
