    Hi,

    I'm using the Metro theme and trying to replace the footer using the Simple Hooks plug-in.

    I have checked the "unhook" box on the "genesis_footer Hook" but this footer is still in place.

    When I add some code to either this hook or the _before or _after hooks, but text appears well above the footer, in fact about the bottom widget areas.

    I don't think this is correct.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    David

    Link to your site please.

    Are you trying to remove the footer widgets or footer?

    You can do this using CSS code or PHP.

    #footer {
    display: none;
    }

    You can see at the bottom of the page my footer sits above a white space (where I think the widgets are) and then the Genesis footer is at the bottom.

    This is despite requesting unhooking of the footer.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi David

    Please add the CSS code to the end of your child themes style.css file.

    I added the CSS mentioned above but I am still having trouble getting Genesis Simple Hooks to replace the default footer info that comes with the Metro Pro child theme.

    Thanks
