Just noticed one of the 708x400 images looking great as a 150x150 thumbnail in a post appearing further down on the home page. That's because the subject of the photo is appearing in that area being highlighted! I think I've got this partially solved. 🙂

I often assign different categories to one post (i.e. Feeling Good and Mind Games, plus subcategories). Maybe that's what the problem is?

Yes -- one of the issues is the resizing of the 708x400 to 150x150. WP appears to be taking the 150x150 from the middle of the 708x400, hence in some photos of the Ironman triathletes, their heads are "missing" (I know, I know, many people question their sanity but that's another topic LOL).

Will try using one category for a post and see what happens to the 708x400 image. Thanks MeMoe!
