MemberHi,
Don't want to insult you if you've already tried this, but if you look at the working mode of your page (meaning when you edit it from the dashboard), AND depending on what theme you're using, look on the right side of the screen and maybe down a bit, where there's sometimes a dropdown menu for the type of page you want. Not the default page choices in the middle (full width, one-column, two-column), but an actual dropdown with choices like Archive page, Landing page, etc.I'm not expert but I always look for the simplest thing first. Good luck!

MemberI wondered about this too -- thanks Victor.
January 5, 2018 at 6:44 pm in reply to: Infinity Pro-changes on About Page aren't showing up in browser #215127barbaradavis
MemberI'm not sure how you tell in the source code if it's actually a WP page or not; but to start really simply, sometimes, depending on what browser you're using, the page takes a while to refresh. I find when I use Chrome, I have to empty the cache and refresh the page before my changes show up, which is very annoying. This might be a kindergarten-level answer but I related to your question!

MemberBill, I had the same feeling! I've been carefully editing Studiopress style.css files in the Editor for years.
I figure I'll just FTP download style.css and edit in Dreamweaver or Textwrangler, then send it back up -- carefully keeping backups and original copies, as always.
Thank you Victor, for the scoop.Still loving WP and Studiopress,
Barbara
December 18, 2013 at 11:26 am in reply to: How to disable social sharing buttons from showing on home page – Outreach theme #79976barbaradavis
MemberHello, I have almost exactly the same problem. I'm using the Outreach theme, and have tried many of the same social networking Share plugins, but can't get the configuration I want: to have social networking icon/links occur only on left-column homepage posts and/or categories, but NOT in the widget sidebar. Also, separately for individual posts on other pages (custom application of social icons per individual posts).
I too get unwanted text, and tag!, showing up near the icons when the plugins are activated.
In general, would love to have simple FB, Twitter, and Instagram buttons for sharing, placed at bottom of individual selected posts (not in widget sidebar), with no extra text showing.
Could probably hard-code individual button images with an href link for each individual post, but this is not a good solution for my client.
Thank you Andrea and thanks jlong230 for the question!

MemberHello Meppy,
I am having the same problem with the logo in the header of my Agency child theme. It does not reduce in size to fit smartphone screens. I notice this thread kind of fizzled out! Hope this will revive it because my customer wants their logo to shrink to fit iPhones. http://www.introspecttechnologies.com
However, my menu seems to be responding well to resizing, but I notice yours is NOT (at http://www.meppyit.com.au). The difference may be that the menu I'm using is placed in the "Header Right" area under Widgets, plus I changed the CSS a bit to move it over to fit. Maybe this info will help with your menu.
But I hope other folks have some wisdom on getting a logo in the Agency header to be more responsive to resize for iPhones! Thanks!
