You might want to try batcache as well if you use the wp memcache plugin. The result is pretty impressive, saved a lot of memory.

Problem that I found so far, sometimes the http header return with 503 bad gateway. I have googling many times but didnt find any clue yet.

Try to follow this tutorial http://www.carriedils.com/genesis-2-0-archive-settings-custom-post-types/
And then re-save your permalink settings.

Hi Mark,

Try to add the priority as well remove_action( 'genesis_after_entry', 'genesis_do_author_box_single', 8 );.
If still doesn't work, that's depend on which theme that you are using.
