I think that's coming from the actual Facebook comments/share plugin you are using. Did you get the plugin from the WordPress Repository?

AnitaKeymasterNever mind... found it using Google. Brian wrote instructions - http://www.briangardner.com/code/remove-header-elements/.

AnitaKeymasterThanks Chris! This is my project for the afternoon. I will report back if I have any problems.

AnitaKeymasterTry turning off the full content on the site and limit the number of posts. You really have a lot to scroll through and it's loading too slow. Also, check that .Gif image you have. That was making my computer race until I deleted it with Firebug. Then it stopped.

AnitaKeymasterI am using Firefox it came up for me. I agree with Chris that it's too slow. I think because you have all the Google Ads and you have the blogs at full content - plus, you have so many on the front - that that's what's slowing it down. The site is timing out when I use BuiltWith.com.

AnitaKeymasterCan you share a link to your website so we can take a look?

AnitaKeymasterAdd this to your Style.css
.post-49 .entry-content { border: 1px solid #CCCCCC; overflow: hidden; padding: 20px; }

AnitaKeymasterThis reply has been marked as private.AnitaKeymasterThat's actually an image. You can find that in the Style.css. You can use Firebug to find all the elements you want to change. Firebug is an add-on to the Firefox browser.

AnitaKeymasterDid you modify the code to 960 or did you configure the embed code for 960. It looks like the script is overriding it at 600 x 200 and I don't see a way to change it. The script is reading from another server.

January 4, 2013 at 7:32 pm in reply to: Genesis Responsive Slider Questions (Basic Questions I think) #9641AnitaKeymasterChris, Chris, Chris! LOL, okay so here it goes.
1) You can add in your own Excerpt in the excerpt field which would be different than the content in the body of the post. Add that statement or question there.
2) Unfortunately, you cannot block an image by page/post. If one is attached, it will show up.
3) In the slider, reduce the size of your image to be half the size of the slider, then set the excerpt to be say, 50% from Top to Bottom.

AnitaKeymasterWhere did you place the code in your theme?

AnitaKeymasterOMG, 1and1 is AWFUL! Just terrible. They need to shut them down. I have two clients that used to be with them. It was a nightmare trying to talk to their tech support!

AnitaKeymasterMake sure you back up Susan. I am thinking of moving to Hostgator. I was talking to a guy at Godaddy and he said, "oh, one of your plugins is probably making that happen - it probably updated by itself." I said, "plugins don't just update by themselves and the plugins weren't active. That ding dong tried to argue with me. I said you are absolutely useless to me, goodbye. Sheesh!

AnitaKeymasterLook in your Style.css file - Appearance > Editor. Then look for that code in there. Your number is 140 - change it to 170.

AnitaKeymasterDid you use the Featured Image and also add the same image to the body of your post?
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterModify this: your min-height to about 170 as indicated below.
#header {
margin: 0 auto;
min-height: 170px;
width: 1140px;}

AnitaKeymasterThe images must be larger than the specified width/height you have added in the settings. You cannot use one smaller one and one larger one.

AnitaKeymaster@fskhan619 - here is the code you need. I hope the code posts.
<?php if(is_single()) { ?>
<center>
***Paste AdSense Code Here***
</center>
<?php } ?>

AnitaKeymasterI think the code you pasted broke.
