AnitaKeymasterHit F2 on the file name and rename it to something shorter to see if you can open it. What version of Word are you using? It looks like you may not have permission or rights to open them. Your file folder is a number - try renaming that file folder to text also.
I use the Goo.gl and it keeps track of how many clicks. You have to sign into your account to create and track the clicks.

AnitaKeymasterDoes that happen with all of your documents? Have you tried to Save As and then open the new file?

AnitaKeymasterI've had this issue before trying to copy a new slider CSS code into my style.css. The only way I've been able to edit the slider is within the slider itself and I have to remember that if I update the plugin - I have to add my code back. The code in your slider reads this:
#genesis-responsive-slider .slide-excerpt { margin: 0; opacity: 0.95; padding: 30px 30px 20px; }
Change 0.95 opacity to 0.8.

AnitaKeymasterWith Genesis Framework - you can have all of your pages "one-column" layout. For the Blog page, you can select content-sidebar layout which will give you the column for your widgets. You create a Page called "Blog" or whatever you want to call it. Then select go to the Template and select blog. Scroll down and select the content-sidebar layout and save. That's it.

AnitaKeymasterThanks, glad you got it figured out.

AnitaKeymasterOkay, then just add that new code I gave you to the bottom of your style.css file.

AnitaKeymasterPlease share a link to you website so I can take a look. That code you provided is not what goes in the hook area.

AnitaKeymasterYou can hide the featured image by looking for:
a img { border: medium none; }
replace that with this:
a img { display: none; }
To answer your second question, it should auto crop the image if it's a landscaped image. If you apply a portrait image it
willwill not size properly.

AnitaKeymasterI think at this point, you may need to put in a support ticket thru your account at my.studiopress.com on this. If you haven't changed any code and it's not appearing as the demo - they may be able to assist you further.
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterThat's the only way to reset it. You'll have to have them do it again. I'll unsubscribe from this now as there is nothing further I have to offer. Good luck to you.

AnitaKeymasterBy default, you cannot edit the 404 page, however if you look at this forum discussion - @DavidDecker created a plugin that will give you the option to add widgets to the page - http://www.studiopress.community/topic/editing-the-404-page-on-genesis-themes/.

AnitaKeymasterI need you to provide the 404 page so I can take a look at that. For the footers, look for this:
#footer-widgets .wrap {
and add this to it:
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;

AnitaKeymasterPlease share a link to your website so I can take a look. Do you have a static home page selected under Settings > Reading? The Latest Posts should be selected in order for the home page to work like the demo.
