There is a difference between a Featured Content Slider and a Slideshow. with the Featured Content Slider on Agency - that one works by adding Featured Images to the Pages or Posts. If you want to add photo to a slideshow without having it attached to content you will need a Slideshow plugin similar to Soliliquy-Lite/

AnitaKeymasterWhy not take a look and scroll through the Showcase to see what others have been able to customize the themes - http://www.studiopress.com/showcase.

AnitaKeymasterHere it is:
.avatar, .entry-content img, .featuredpage img, .featuredpost img, .post-image { background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 4px solid #EEEEEE; padding: 1px; }
Delete the border line.

AnitaKeymasterYes, there are several things you should look for. When you make your purchase you will need to go to - my.studiopress.com, then to your downloads. Next to your child theme is "Get Started" which will help guide you through setting up your theme. If you need to learn more about the framework, go here - http://www.studiopress.com/news/genesis-for-beginners.htm and download the free eBook.

AnitaKeymasterYes, you can load the framework as many times as you want on as many domains as you want. You can create your own child themes to go with it. You can customize the Pretty Young Thing theme as much as you want - it's yours. Do what you want with it.

AnitaKeymasterThe Genesis Framework works with child themes. Unless you decided to change the one business over to one of the child themes - you would not install Genesis under that business websites.
For the other two websites, you would install the Genesis Framework first and then select a child theme for the websites.
Yes, you can use the framework and child themes you purchase on as many websites as you like.

April 13, 2013 at 6:26 pm in reply to: Reverse the positions of primary sidebar and Secondary sidebar #35296AnitaKeymasterAre you saying you just want the Sidebar Alt to be the larger one and the Primary to be the smaller? If so, go to Style.css and just switch the widths between the two. You may also need to make an adjustment to the #Content area.

AnitaKeymasterI am not quite sure what you are asking about. Genesis is a framework. Are you planning on editing/modifying one of the three accounts or setting up something new?

AnitaKeymasterIf you don't have a website, how have you added a background that requires being responsive? Hummmmm.
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterIt shouldn't be a basic answer in that you said background image - background image to what - the entire website or the background to the black area? We ask for the URL for a specific reason - so we can see what customizations you may have made - so we aren't giving you code in the "blind."
I will unsubscribe from here and allow someone else to respond to you.

AnitaKeymasterOh look... it's the little cutie pie's daddy! Hi, you could do one of two things.
Option 1 - Resize your image from this wide header with all the white space, to just the width of the actual logo image - http://noahsdad.com/test/wp-content/2013/03/noahs-dad-logo-down-syndrome-blog.png. Then in your Functions.php look for the Header sizes - change the size to your actual logo size and save it. After that, go to Appearance > Header and upload the newly resized logo and save. It should appear right.
.... another option is:
Download Nick's plugin. A lot of folks who use it are pretty happy with it - http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-responsive-header.
Good luck.

AnitaKeymasterIt's because of your image width. Use this - http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-responsive-header.

AnitaKeymasterYou can copy the home left and middle widget areas in the functions.php to create two new ones. Maybe name them home-bottom-left and home-bottom-right. Then copy the CSS for the home left and middle and past as the new home-bottom-left and home-bottom-right and change the widths to what you want them to be. Then go to home.php and create the two new widget areas.
