Hey DP, I didn't think you were ignoring me. I was taking in everything being discussed here. Sounds like some differing of opinion, but it gives me some food to chew on before I make a decision. I just want to make sure that I steer my client in the right direction on which product to purchase for their IDX/RETS system.
Are you familiar with http://displet.com/idxrets-search/? This is another solution that I saw recommended out there.
Thanks for all the help.

4WardMotionMemberI'm in the process of designing a new website for a small local real estate office in my area and one of the things that we are wanting to do is find a good IDX/RETS WordPress plugin (needs to be responsive) that will work with our local MLS. I'm very interested to know what you guys would recommend for this. We were looking at IDXBroker as they are in our area, but after reading the posts above from Joseph Lee and DP, I'm very interested to hear more on RETS, SEO and what you guys would recommend for this. SEO is very important for us and so is ease of use for the client.
I would love to know what the best solutions out there for this are, even if they are not in our area yet we will pursue getting them here if it is to our advantage. Thanks for the help!

4WardMotionMemberOk, I just got a reply directly from support regarding this problem and here is what they recommend.
Look for:
.header-image #title a {
background: none;
padding: 0;
Change it to:
.header-image #title a {
background: none !important;
padding: 0;
I just tried this and it did fix the problem using one of the other themes color templates.
I still need to find out how to only make the logo a link and not the whole header, but I guess one step at a time. Hope this helps.
4WardMotionMemberThanks for sharing that fix. I will go play with it and see what I can come up with. One question I still have though is when I add the header image it makes the whole header as a link instead of just the logo. Is there a way to change that. Thanks!
4WardMotionMemberOk, I just figured something out. When choosing any of the color themes other than default is what is causing the problem. When I chose the default color theme it works, except it makes the entire header clickable instead of just the logo. This seems like it might be an error with the theme. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

4WardMotionMemberI have done exactly as you said and it won't work. It just makes the entire header red. Not sure what is happening. I have checked and unchecked the header text box and the only thing it does is reduces the size of the red area to the size of the header text. Other than that it will not put my logo. Seems like something in the theme's color template is overwriting it. Any other ideas? Thanks!

4WardMotionMemberOk, I added the header image and now it just has a big red bar all the way across. I am using the Metro theme with the red color. Not sure why it is making it red. The entire header is now red and is not showing my logo image. Also, it is making the whole thing a clickable link. Can I make it so just the logo is clickable? Thanks for the help!

4WardMotionMemberOk, I will play with that. Thanks again for all your help!

4WardMotionMemberI am using the old embed code. I did end up getting it right to the size it needed to be, but I thought there was an easier way to get it to adjust automatically. Maybe not, and if that is the case then I will live with it as is. Thanks once again for your help!

4WardMotionMemberThat worked great! Thank you so much. I just realized after you gave me the dimension that once again I tried to make things harder than they are. I didn't even think to look at the obvious, the size of the picture there. DUH! Once again I am humbled. Thanks for taking the time to help me.

4WardMotionMemberThis site is not live as it is a test site for one I am working on. As of right now I am just using the base Metro theme. http://demo.studiopress.com/metro. I just want to put the slider in the Home Top Widget, which is where the main featured story is on the demo site. I'm using Firebug, but it only shows the width as 65%, so not sure what that would be for the actual size I should set the slider to. The slider is a responsive slider too. I hope that helps.
Thanks for your help!

4WardMotionMemberSo I'm taking it that there is no easy way to do this within WordPress?
