I simply changed the header background from transparent to black, think it's working fine. I love figuring this stuff out!
1slorunnerMemberI have been working on this for most of the day yesterday and I think I have most, not all, of this issue resolved with an exception of one part.
Nav ErrorI don't know exactly where to change the stylesheet.css to modify this, I would like to change either the scrolling background color or the text color. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Joe
1slorunnerMemberBrad,
I found your link was very helpful and resolved my issue. I appreciate your help!Joe
1slorunnerMemberVictor, I appreciate your willingness to help but I figured it out. I had to modify my style.css line 910, I took out the transparent and changed the color to #000.
1slorunnerMemberChristoph,
Thank so much for the quick reply. What file do I modify to delete that code? Is it the style.css?1slorunnerMemberThis is what I want to buttons to look like

1slorunnerMemberDisregard. Fixed it somehow
1slorunnerMemberThat does work however the horizontal alignment is off. It's getting closer!
1slorunnerMemberModified functions.php however it is still centering widgets, I added my Company Name and address and its centered. Any ideas?
1slorunnerMemberSo can anyone suggest an easy way to get a phone number and some text in the header area of my site?
1slorunnerMemberThe issue that I have with the Footer 1 area is that all of the widgets that I add to the footer are centered, it looks terrible.
1slorunnerMemberI must apologize because I did not use the terms very well to explain what I am mean to ask. On my page I have the slider functioning however it is very hard to read the content. I have tried to adjust this code from the genesis-responsive-slider/style.css but it does not appear to make much of a difference. Any suggestions?
.slide-excerpt {
background-color: #fff;
filter: alpha(opacity=80);
display: block;
margin: 10px;
opacity: 0.08;
padding: 0;
position: absolute;
z-index: 8;1slorunnerMemberFor some reason I got this to work however when I view it on mobile, it looks terrible. The text box overtakes my menu etc. Any way to get that resolved?
1slorunnerMemberGive me a minute, I will change it.
1slorunnerMemberResolved! Thanks!
1slorunnerMemberAfter further review I see that it centered my footer widget however I would also like to center my page titles and images such as Intervention, Recovery Coaching and Sober Transport located at my Home Bottom. When I look at them on an iPad it appears that everything is left justified and I would like to center it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
1slorunnerMemberThat solved it! Thank you.
1slorunnerMemberTom,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! It worked!Joe
1slorunnerMemberTom,
It's not fixed. I would like to text New Life Recovery Services on one line and Helping break the chains of addiction, one family at a time... on the line below. It appears that I am limited to the number of characters that I can use before it wraps the text to the next line. Any idea how I resolve that?
The Ginger Software style was a bad attempt to get some html text added to a text box. It came from a site that generated text to HTML. I am a newbie, go easy on me 🙂Joe
1slorunnerMemberTom,
Thanks for the reply. I am trying to put "New Life Recovery Services" on one line and "Breaking the chains etc on the line below for a total or 2 lines of text. As you see it now, it's 4 lines. I don't know how to fix it because if I put a Header Right widget then it truncates the text.
The code that I put on the header was generated by me trying to get a text box with the "Call Now" inserted in the header. I am not very familiar with the themes and etc and I have been hunting for an answer, any help would be greatly appreciated.Joe
