    Hi,

    I use the genesis sample theme with Yoast SEO plugin for my XML-sitemap. In Google search console there are a lot of warnings:

    Warnings

    All the warnings seem to refer to images and the robots.txt. Is there something I can do about this? I have a lot of lines in my robots.txt since my website got hacked a month ago, but no lines that include somekind of sitemap.

    These are my settings for the XML-sitemap:

    Hi,

    the problem is not that your robots.txt blocks the sitemap.

    The problem is that the sitemap tells Google where on the server your pictures are and you have blocked access to that location in robots.txt.

    Hi Christoph,

    Thank you. That's seems to be exactely what went wrong. I removed this line in the robots.txt and now the warnings are gone;

    Disallow: /wp-*

    Thank you for helping me out!
