    I did a search on custom front pages prior to creating this post. There were a few threads that came up, but they were more basic on choosing static front page and blog page options. I already understand all of that.

    What I am looking to do is create a front-page.php page to create a unique front page to my online store before you enter into the store side part of the site. I am currently using the genesis sample theme (I'd like to build this from scratch essentially).

    So how would I go about doing this? I had somewhat of an idea how to do this with WP, but with the Gensis theme it is quite different as you all know. I've been trying to google tutorials on how to do this, but I have not found anything very relevant.

    Could someone please point me in the right direction on how to create a front-page with Geneis? Thank you.

    Are there any guides out there on how to create a login screen? That is essentially what I am trying to do; however, all I can find for front-page is how to customize blog posts :/
