    Hi,

I am a complete newbie when it comes to blogs and I'm hearing all this stuff about frameworks and child themes for the first time today. I have just bought the Genesis framework. I was wondering whether it's possible to use a WordPress theme called "WiRose - Lifestyle Blog and Press Theme" found on mojomarketplace.com with the Genesis framework I just bought. Is the WiRose theme a so-called "Child theme"? And if I cannot use that theme, where can I find child themes to use in Genesis framework? I find the selection of child themes on studiopress.com very limited.

If a theme is not advertised as a Genesis child theme, then it is not and it will not work with the Framework. The Genesis Framework is designed for developers. Most Genesis users have a working knowledge of PHP, jQuert, HTML, CSS, and WordPress hooks. If the Studio Press child themes don't meet your needs, then Google Genesis Child Themes. There are many, many third party sites that sell child themes tailored for Genesis.
