I'm having the exact same issue on a new site I'm building here: https://shop.therootcause.com.au
The responsive menu works fine on every page *except* the individual product pages, in which case the <button> elements disappear (so the hamburger menu item vanishes) and the dashicons next to menu items with submenus seem to disappear too.
I have got the latest versions of Genesis, WooCommerce, WordPress. I have installed Genesis Connect. The theme is a modified version of the Genesis Sample.
You can see the responsive menu working here:
https://shop.therootcause.com.auAnd broken here:
https://shop.therootcause.com.au/product/the-lunchbox-effect-book-pre-orderIf anyone can suggest what's going on here, I'd be extremely grateful!
Thanks,
Israel.December 3, 2019 at 10:15 am #495187AnitaCKeymasterI have split off your discussion into a separate discussion since it pertains to the responsive menu.
From what I see on that product page, the hamburger menu is in the "open" position. So is that the issue you are describing?

The exact problem is that on the Product page, the menu is expanded, but there is actually no hamburger button at all - even in the code - and the menu items with sub-links (eg Product Categories expands out to show Books and Courses) don't have the little down chevron icon showing either.
It's like for some reason the whole "responsive" menu feature disappears on the Product Pages only.
Any advice?
December 3, 2019 at 12:20 pm #495191IsraelParticipantPS I've checked all the other standard WooCommerce pages - Cart, Checkout, etc - and they all have the hamburger button with the word "Menu" - and the responsive menu works as intended. It's just on the single product pages that things go weird.
December 3, 2019 at 12:57 pm #495192AnitaCKeymasterCheck your scripts. Something is blocking the script on the menu from opening. Check the content on that page.

December 4, 2019 at 1:52 pm #495251IsraelParticipantThanks, but I wouldn't know where to start.
What Genesis script controls the placement of the responsive menu items?
December 4, 2019 at 4:45 pm #495254AnitaCKeymasterNo, check other scripts like in other plugins. You may need to do a plugin conflict check by disabling your plugins (except WooCommerce) to see why that's happening.

December 4, 2019 at 5:08 pm #495255IsraelParticipantArgh. Thankyou for that tip. I just figured it out.
The conflict is caused by the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin - and a specific setting:
Go to this page:
WooCommerce -> Settings -> Payments -> Stripe -> [Manage]Then the setting "Payment Request Buttons"... when that is ENABLED, it causes a conflict with the Responsive menu. When it is DISABLED, everything works just fine.
Hopefully this helps anyone else trying to solve this mysterious problem!
Thanks for your tips Anita 🙂
Israel.
