    Hi, I'm trying to remove the sorting drop down on shop pages. Using Enterprise Pro and woo connect.

    I have search the woocommerce help files (that's a whole nother issue :)) I have tried every bit of code I can find, adding to functions, and still the drop down persists:

    // remove default sorting dropdown

    remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_shop_loop', 'woocommerce_catalog_ordering', 30 );

    and this:

    remove_action( ‘woocommerce_pagination’, ‘woocommerce_catalog_ordering’, 20 );

    and this:

    remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_shop_loop', 'woocommerce_catalog_ordering', 20 );

    Anyone have any other ideas? I'm thinking this is related to using Genesis but not sure. Thanks!

    Try this. It has nothing to do with Genesis:

    remove_action('woocommerce_before_shop_loop','woocommerce_catalog_ordering', 30 );

    You need to make sure you are using straight quotes in your code and not the curly quotes your post displays.
