I am running this theme on a client's site. After some updates, I had to do some custom CSS additions to put things back into alignment. Got that done and now am getting this message. I know Woocommerce just released this update but now my theme does not seem to want to play well. I tried going to the theme creator but I don't have a Studiopress Invoice where I paid for the theme since I am a Studiopress forever customer!
Does anyone know what I might run up against if I run the updater? Does this theme have an updated version?
Any help would be appreciated.
Below is the message:"Your theme (Jessica) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme."
Thanks
Deborah

You can generally safely ignore it. However, with the 3.0 release, a lot has changed. So much so, that I had to refactor quite a few custom WooCommerce themes that I authored for customer sites. The best way to know for certain is to create a development instance of your site and upgrade that instance first. Test it thoroughly to make sure nothing has broken. If all tests well, upgrade production. Remember to make backups before any upgrade so you can easily restore if things go south.

jessica/woocommerce/single-product/meta.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,
jessica/taxonomy-product_tag.phpLike Deborah I have no way of contacting the Jessica theme creator since I purchased the theme through StudioPress. Will there be an update to the theme at some point?
Thank you
April 19, 2017 at 11:12 am #204999Deborah KunzieMemberI still have no resolution to this problem. I contact my hosting provider (Hostgator) and they assured me they were running the latest PHP version. I did a test site and loaded all the same plugins extra and ran the update and it changed a few things which I had to again do some custom coding. All because there is no update yet for the Jessica Theme.
I just contacted Studiopress support and asked them if I moved my clients site over to Studiopress hosting would these issues be resolved? I am waiting on an answer.
Good luck Jonathan

April 19, 2017 at 12:59 pm #205006Victor FontModeratorI'm using Soliloquy with WooCommerce 3.0.3 on this site: https://coachsoats.com/. There are no errors.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?April 19, 2017 at 1:26 pm #205009jonathansaarMemberFirst of all-- Gorgeous site!!!
Do you get that out of date notice on Woocommerce system page? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin three times now. The only change that has been made is the Woocommerce update.
April 19, 2017 at 1:43 pm #205014jonathansaarMemberQuick update - It was my UPS Woocommerce plugin that was creating the conflict
April 19, 2017 at 1:54 pm #205016Deborah KunzieMemberI am wondering if several plugins are not part of the issues. I do not have the UPS plugin installed but like you I disabled every plugin and then started one at a time enabling. I ran into an issue with the regenerate image plugin.
Overall, the problem is still not having an update for this theme. I have read other people having inssue with this and I saw in the forum for this theme write a fix suggestion but I did not get my theme through them. I have the developer package through Studiopress.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?May 1, 2017 at 12:04 pm #205699mathew419MemberI had the same WooCommerce error with the Jessica theme. I was able to fix the error by copying the meta.php file from the Woocommerce plugin:
public_html/wp-content/themes/jessica/woocommerce/single-product
to the Jessica theme Woocommerce template section here:
public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/single-product
I did this by going through the file manager in my hosting account. Hope this helps fix your problem.
May 1, 2017 at 12:05 pm #205700mathew419MemberMy apologies. Flip that around. The meta.php file was copied from:
public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/single-product
To:
public_html/wp-content/themes/jessica/woocommerce/single-product
May 1, 2017 at 2:21 pm #205705jonathansaarMemberThank you for that. It worked.
May 8, 2017 at 8:29 am #206108KaryMemberDeborah, you are able to join the forum from the Jessica theme developers. You just have to email them and provide a screenshot of your purchase order from Studiopress. They may need something else, I can't remember. But I'm there as someone who purchased Jessica theme, even as a "forever developer" here at Studiopress.
https://www.web-savvy-marketing.com/forum/May 8, 2017 at 8:36 am #206109Deborah KunzieMemberThank you Kary. I tried to contact them but unless there is proof of purchase it appears I can't. I have been a member with Studiopress forever. Even in Brian's Revolution days. Not sure I have a screen shot or can get one that I purchased unless I can screenshot my membership affiliation here???
I keep hoping they update the theme but until then, I am looking into other options for my client. Seems I am having an issue with Stripe woocommerce using this theme now but not sure they are related.
Thanks for the input.
