First I would like to use a New Listings list as I would use a Blog, but cannot figure out how to make 'featured listings' become the posts page on settings.

IF i can't get that, I would like to make a new 'dummy' navigation link to say Listings with the new listings in a dropdown . I can't figure out how to get that 'blank' button onto the top navigation. I have it sort of set up at http://pristine.wordpresswhisperer.com under My Listings. I want to shut that button off.
