    Hi

I am relatively new to Genesis and would like to hear if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on how to go about adding a tiled area on a page (say 4 x 4), that allows for various sized boxes - i.e. similar to win 8 style.

Is it possible I can use any genesis classes or plugins to do this?

    Also needs to be responsive.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated - many thanks!

    Hi,

It is possible, but it would involve a lot of PHP and CSS. As such, it's beyond the scope of what could be done in the community support forum.

However, if you want a quote about how much it would cost to achieve, then visit Genesis Customizations and submit a request.

What do you want to put in the boxes?

Many thanks for your replies Ben and Brad

I would like to set this up on several pages, and it would be various content - so not really post content as such.

I was thinking if it could be done using genesis column classes, but problem I am having visualising it, is if you can have irregular sized boxes within the layout to remain responsive - if that makes sense?

Looks like it may be a little too difficult how I want it.

May look at another theme which has this implemented, but would like in Genesis.

If this is a theme customisation, is it possible within the community???
    Thanks!
