    One of our clients has a very old site using the "Nitrous" theme running on WP 3.4.1

    I notice that there has not been an updated to the Nitrous theme, so does that mean that it is not compatible with WP 4.5.3?

    Not necessarily. The Genesis Framework is compatible. A child theme then is compatible unless there are customizations not related to Genesis that aren't.

    Victor,

    Thanks for the response. We did not do and customization to the theme or Genesis (other than maybe the footer PHP file.

    I heard that WP 4.5 changed the "folder structure" and some of the other theme developers had to update their child themes. Would this be a problem for "Nitrous"?
