    Hi there,

    I'd like to display my post's featured image on the front/home page, in the post/grid display. Currently, only the first few words of the post show up, and I want to replace this with an image beneath the headline.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

    Hi

    You can set the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archive > Featured Image which displays the image before title.

    You can then use code to reposition the image or title in the position you want as well as remove the excerpt content.

    Thank you so much Brad, I was massively overcomplicating this thinking it needed code!

    Try removing this code from front-page.php

    //* Relocate entry image
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_image', 8 );
    add_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_image', 1 );

    You can then add different lines of code to your front-page.php file to remove other elements like post info etc.
