    Hello,

    I need help changing our websites hyperlink colors. They're currently showing white, and we have a white background. It's defaulting to the accent color (white) selected in theme -- customize.

    Please help. I've tried adding this code to the style sheet, but it doesn't work. I can't find where else in the style sheet refers to editing these colors. THANKS! 🙂

    a:link {color:#CCCCCC;} /* unvisited link */
    a:visited {color:#404040;} /* visited link */
    a:hover {color:#FFFFFF;} /* mouse over link */

    The accent colours are getting loaded after the style.css so you need qualify them so they take presidence.

    Qualifying them with .site-container should be enough e.g.

    .site-container a {color: #CCCCCC;}

    etc

    Thank you so much!

    Would I also insert a similar code to adjust the hover color?

    I apologize, I'm not an experienced designer by any means, learning as I go.

    I am having this same problem -- everything I hover over is defaulting to the teal option. I must admit that I know even less about css than you @m.poirier, and I don't know know where in the stylesheet to insert the code that you indicated in your first post, OR where to insert the code @Badlywired describes either.

    This is the site I'm working on-- http://learnerinspired.com

    Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    The simple thing you can customize via WordPress Customize.
    Themes > Customize

    Change your accent color with your color.
