    Hi All,

    When I reduce the screen size (horizonitally) a scroll bar appears at the bottom of the screen and a large white space has been created to the left of the site container. I cant work out why this is happening?

    Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    Something like this happened before; See my other post ( http://www.studiopress.community/topic/spacing-appear-to-right-of-site-container/ ) However I still cannot figure it out.

    The url where the problem is occuring is http://www.allcleartravel.com/au/life-5-2/.

    I am very grateful for any help given!! 🙂

    Thanks

    Tom

    Sorry I had it published to private. Its now on public, I think its due to the header why this occurring.

    I postitoned the logo and the nav bar to be central, but i suspect that this has caused the issue. Any ideas?

    thanks

    Tmgale, the issue is simple, your site-container div has no css. Given that its a containing or wrapping div (in terms of its role or purpose), it is missing some key lines of css to make everything work perfectly. Add this to your css stylesheet:

    .site-container {
    width: 100%;
    overflow: hidden;
    }

    and voila!, problem solved.

    Thanks this worked!

    However, at mobile screen sizes there is still white space to the left of the container.

    I have tried adding overflow: hidden to a number of elements but I cant seem to prevent it from appearing.

    Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing the issue?

    Thanks 🙂
