    I just generated code using conversionsbox.com, as it's the one many sites in my category use. However, I have no idea where to paste it. The instructions say in the header.php file which I don't even see in my child theme (Swank). I think the answer should be simple for someone who knows what they're doing, I just don't want to accidentally break my site, as I have a tendency to do when attempting stuff like this.

    Hello Tessa,

    you need to put your code in the functions.php, with wordpress function wp_enqueue_script :

    If you have Problems with that, you can post your Code here and i will modify it for you.

    That would be great! Here's the code:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="//conversionsbox.com/cb.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">function r(f){/in/.test(document.readyState)?setTimeout('r('+f+')',9):f()}; r(function(){new ConversionsBox("Get%20new%20recipes%20via%20Facebook!","https://www.facebook.com/naturalcomfortkitchen/");});</script>

    Anything which should be added to the header.php file can be added to the header scripts. Go to Dashboard > Genesis > Theme Settings > Header & Footer Scripts. Add the script there.
