I'd like to know how to access the HTML and php files of my theme / child theme. Appearance > Edit is disabled.

    Thank you

You should use an FTP Client like FileZilla. This is a much safer method than editing these files directly through WordPress.

There are no HTML files. HTML is generated on the fly through the framework, not the child theme. The Genesis Framework also provides almost all of the PHP functionality. What exactly do you want to change? While you should never modify anything in the Framework, it has a multitude of WordPress filters and actions that allow you to change output.

I want to access and edit style.css to put the code you suggested in the other thread. (It's about the header)

FTP to your server and navigate to wp-content/themes/(your-child-theme). Your style sheet is in the child theme directory.
