I'd like start up a forum on my website but not sure which one to use. bbpress ? buddy press? Any suggestions? Oh By the way, what plugin is this forum? Does anyone know?

It depends on which one suits your needs.

This forum is using bbpress and there are many others like Simple Press and premium forum software options like IP board and vBulletin.
