    The title says it all. I want to add a widget that spans the width of the content below the 4 homepage social widgets in Minimum.

    I want to use it to post testimonials.

    Any tips?

    Try this tutorial by Carrie Dils:

    She explains how to create the full width widget area, and then with hooks, you can place it in the area where you want it to appear.
