    My client doesn't want the hexagonal box behind the site name/tag line on the homepage in front-page 1. How do I remove the widget background color so that the text just sorta sits atop the image background? I don't see any unique CSS for each specific box. http://www.falling-sky.com/rasfirm

    (And I know this is a bad idea, design-wise. Doesn't matter. Client Is Always Right.)

    Thanks very much!

    Line 73 of front page style sheet

    .image-section .widget-wrap {
    	/* background: #fdfbf6; */
    	/* padding: 20px 40px; */
    	/* position: relative; */
    }

    Gotcha, thank you very much! But that will remove all the widget backgrounds, right? Will it work if I change ".widget-wrap" to ".widget-wrap-front1" and edit the class in the code on the first widget in front-page.php?

    Use the class for the front page 1 widget.

    Thank you. I guess I didn't find these because yet again they're pay-only tutorials. Ugh. Support forums sure have changed in the 20 years I've been on the web! And of course the best part is, like the other stuff I've paid for today, I won't know if they're useful until *after* I've shelled out the bucks. Great system.

    But I appreciate your taking the time to link advertise.

    Wait-- FIFTY DOLLARS PER MONTH? Yeah, that's not happening. Thanks anyway.
