I have the Lifestyle Pro Theme and want the Front to page to be a plain posts page.
I emptied out the Home Top, Home Middle, Home Bottom Left, Home Bottom Right Widgets and it left me with what appears to be the Home Top Widget.
This widget has a Centered Title with Content under it. I just want a plain post with a title and content underneath like most post pages I have seen.
    How can I accomplish this?

(Nice picture here) Today I noticed that politicians spend a lot of money on negative campaigns focused on their opposition. I am of the opinion that if a politician has to put himself forward by pointing out someone else's faults he does not have time to represent me as his constituent...(Read More)

That's what I would like but there isn't any easy way it appears to do it. Ive searched all over for an answer and see none.

I'm currently using Lifestyle Pro and I just have blog posts on my front page. The way I did this was to delete ALL the widgets (no home, no top, no middle...none of that). In the customize section I chose "static front page" and I clicked on Front Page Displays Your Latest Blog Posts. This worked for me. I've got nothing but regular blog posts on my front page.

I am not sure what you mean by customize section. If you are talking about Settings - Reading - if you choose Front Page Displays Your Latest Blog Posts there is not option to say Static Front Page - it is either one or the other.

Also it is showing the posts ok but they title is centred on the page and it looks like a featured post type thing - if you look at my site as above you will see what I mean.

I got the posts title to go left, but I want to change the format of the post text, color, and padding between post title, text, author etc. If anyone has any code or way of doing this they would share, let me know. If you could show me also. I notice on here that the code is sometimes provided but you cant see what it would look like when complete so hard to change code without knowingl.

Sorry I didn't see your reply on this before.

What I meant by the "static page" is the following.

In your wordpress panel. Under "appearance" click "customize". You should see an option on there (half way down) that says "static front page". Under that you will see the option to display static posts on your front page. In order for this to work you need for your "home top" and "home middle" widgets to be clear (nothing in them).

You can do it the way you have too of course.

In order to change padding, color etc. I highly recommend this video. That's how I learnt how to do it:
