    Hi Guys,

Yet another problem I've been trying for hours to solve by myself without success. Google don't seem to have the answers or any forum chats I've looked at.

The video on the home page of my website is going to be referring to the webform to the left of the video and pointing to different content on the site. For this reason I want it to be played within the website. This is automatically the case when watching the videos on a desktop computer or laptop, but for some reason on mobile devices when you press play on the embedded video it automatically goes to full page view and so can only be viewed in isolation. Is there anyway I can stop it from doing this? An embedding tweak perhaps?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks guys 🙂

    Ben,

This isn't a simple change. Some devices will let you play within the site like the desktop environment while other devices will actually use a special player and there isn't a way around that no matter what you do with the embed.

    Yeah right, bummer.

The thing is though, that I have played videos from other websites on my mobile device (HTC desire HD) and some play within the site while others don't, so there would seem to be some way to make videos, at least for my HTC, play within site.

Maybe it is a case of not embedding it from youtube and putting the video on the website in a different way?

    What do you think?

    Ben
