I'm using the Sample theme, on a few pages I'm making use of the primary sidebar, but one one page i need to have an entirely different set of widgets. I'm thinking there's a secondary sidebar sitting there getting no usage. How can I choose to use this sidebar on a single page?
Many thanks in advance,
Try the Simple Sidebars plug in: http://www.studiopress.com/plugins/simple-sidebars
Or try this tutorial:
Thanks Susan, It's almost spooky, i was just looking at that tutorial when you replied, which is suggesting simple sidebars, the thing is simple sidebars is compatible / tested up to WP version 3.3.2, i'm using 3.5.1 here. So i'm a bit reluctant to use it.
Well, having said I was just looking at the tutorial, obviously I hadn't paid much attention! It may well be the answer...
By gosh, it worked! I had to cobble together a page template, but yes! Many thanks!
You're welcome. 🙂
