    I'm using genesis hooks plugin to add my subscription sign up box on each page, it works great except it is showing the actual shortcode on my BLOG page and on any of the CATEGORY pages?

    Any suggestions on how to fix that so that it just shows what is suppose to be in the shortcode?

    I noticed that it changes when I change the settings under READING and how the posts are displayed, but it still shows the shortcode, just on diff pages.

    You can see my subscribe box is not showing, instead the shortcode: http://www.integrativenutritionaltherapies.com/blog/

    You need to check the box to execute shortcodes.

    Or better still, you can hook in the shortcode directly from your functions file. http://wpsites.net/web-design/show-content-before-posts-on-home-page-only/

    You may want to change the conditional tag from

    is_front_page()

    to

    is_singular('post'))

    Thanks Brad, the box is checked to execute short codes, and it's still showing on my blog and categories page. I read your article, but I want that code on all pages, not just my home page. Any further suggestions? I'm not code saavy at all.

    Remove the conditional tag and 2nd closing curly bracket from the code i linked to and replace the shortcode with your own.

    Also make sure the code includes the same hook position as you're using in simple hooks. Probably genesis_before_content
