    Hello,

I used to upload images with no problem, but now I can't seem to get an image uploaded at all.
They just show up broken in the media library.
I have tried resetting permissions for the uploads folder, but it made no difference.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you checked the permissions for the subfolders (the folders within the uploads folder) and the image files themselves? If the uploads folder, subfolder and all individual image files have the correct permission but still aren't working properly, ask your web host to look into it. This problem almost all ways turns out to be a permissions issue.

    Hi Julia,

Thanks, you were absolutely right, I contacted my hosting company, and they figured out that it was a problem with a database setting.
